I'm a die-cutting goddess
The first hour of my aide work consists of doing whatever Amy needs me to do. My current project is making posters for the Language! classes. Today I spent almost two hours in the teacher workroom copying and die-cutting. It was a tedious morning but turned out to be just perfect. Spending the time alone with my thoughts was pretty therapeutic and something I've been needing with all the ups and downs going on in my life as of late. And, after my morning of solitude, I was ready and pumped to sit down with my little Haitian friend and get to work. His English-speaking abilities have grown so much since he came to the US and it's getting so fun to talk to him. I really like working with him in the mornings too. According to Amy, he likes me a lot and is always asking her where Miss Downs is. I love it!
