Saturday is a special day...

Last Saturday (the 25th) I joined together with my mom and three of my aunts, and traveled to Salt Lake for a day of fun. We started at IKEA where I loaded up on some needed stuff for the soon-approaching move--at least I hope it's soon-approaching. After that we grabbed some delicious lunch at In-N-Out and checked out the Draper Peaks shopping area. We then went on a hunt for a yarn shop that my mom wanted to check out but didn't end of getting there before it closed. Then a quick trip to Paradise Bakery, where we picked up some yummy cookies, used up just enough time for us to get downtown and find a place to park so we could get to the event which was the catalyst for Saturday's journey. You see, we had tickets to participate in the General Relief Society Meeting in the Conference Center. It was a fantastic meeting. I took copious notes and especially loved listening to President Monson. How blessed I am to be a member of a church led by a living prophet! After the meeting we got out of Salt Lake and stopped off in Centerville for dinner at Iggy's. It was a really great day.
