Christmas Trees
I think Christmas trees are fabulous! History says that Martin Luther (a German) was the first to decorate a Christmas tree with candles while in hiding because of a little thing called the 95 Thesis. I like that!
We've always had a real Christmas tree and I hope I always will. I can't imagine Christmas without the real pine smell and the unique tree we get every year. We've been so lucky to get fresh-cut trees from Idaho the past 12 or so years. (Thanks to Sheila, my sister-in-law!) My brother and his fam were even kind enough to get me one for my place this year. It's so cute. I love decorating trees, decking the base with presents, and just watching them twinkle in the night. It's just so homey!
